The Deluxe King Room featured a modern ensuite and ample space, making it a comfortable retreat. Fresh milk stocked in the dining area for tea or coffee adds a nice touch, and the breakfast menu offers a variety of flavorful options that exceeded expectations.
Floorboards in the building creaked a bit, which might not be to everyone's liking, especially if you're a light sleeper. During my stay, noisy guests overhead disrupted sleep, particularly two early morning departures that were hard to ignore. While the location is convenient for accessing local shops, it can get lively, so be prepared for potential noise if you're sensitive to it.

The stay exceeded expectations, particularly with the superb breakfast and the cozy, modern room featuring a luxurious shower. The hosts demonstrated genuine care for their accommodation, enhancing the overall experience. New visitors might miss the charming cocktail bar nearby due to its quiet central location, but exploring the beautiful surroundings is easy.

Amazing stay with great breakfast!
We had a fab time during our stay! The location was super convenient, just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The room was comfy and super clean, and the breakfast was the best I've had in ages – they even catered to my dietary needs! Only wish there were more parking spots available.

comfortable stay with thoughtful touches
The owners showed great attention to detail by offering to separate the beds, which suited us perfectly. The luxurious shower and the homemade soap made the stay feel special.
Unfortunately, we didn't arrive early enough to fully enjoy the nearby attractions.

I adored the tasteful decor and its clean, modern style, making it feel like a cozy home for us seniors. The ground floor room was especially welcoming for those of us needing a bit of accessibility.
A slightly later breakfast option would be nice.

Had a great time with my friends! The room was beautiful and spotless. We visited the local lake and a nearby pub. Breakfast was a highlight, freshly made and tasty. Parking was convenient with space at the back. Glenis and Dave were super friendly and made our stay comfortable. Definitely recommend for a fun getaway!
The only downside was the narrow lane leading to the property. it was a bit tricky to navigate especially with all our luggage.

I enjoyed my stay at Croft House. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and modern. It felt cozy and welcoming. The owners, Glenis and Dave, were super friendly and made me feel at home. Breakfast stood out. freshly made, using local produce, with plenty of choices. I especially loved the homemade jams. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the center of Cockermouth. Parking was convenient at the rear. One downside was the narrow lane leading to the property. it was tricky to navigate with luggage. The floorboards in the room creaked a bit, which might disturb light sleepers. a lovely place to relax and unwind, but better navigation signs would help.
